Lou Kollakis-led Chartworld has added another capesize bulker to its fleet as prices continue to fall, with sources saying it had paid Louis Dreyfus & Cie of France $12.35m for the 171,000-dwt Pierre LD (built 2005).
In September, the one year younger, 177,000-dwt Shagang First (built 2006) was sold for $18.6m.
