United Arab Chemical Carriers (UACC) is in the process of buying a second medium-range (MR) tanker — the Shina-built, 49,000-dwt TRF Bergen (built 2015) for $37.5m — from Transportation Recovery Fund. Last week, it bought the 45,000-dwt TRF Oslo (built 2014) for the same price.
Italian owner D’Amico has sold the Shina-built, 40,000-dwt Cielo Di Roma (built 2003) to a Turkish buyer for $13.8m.
