Greece’s Marmaras Navigation has boosted its fleet with the purchase of a kamsarmax and is about to take delivery of up to three capesize newbuildings ordered at South Korean yard Sungdong Shipbuilding & Marine Engineering.

The Diamantis Diamantides-led company has emerged as buyer of the 81,500-dwt Eternity Island (built 2012) from Japan’s Iino Kaiun at a price of about $13.5m, according to market sources.
