The UK owner has purchased the 2,524-teu Helene (built 2005) for slightly more than $8m, bringing to six the number of units in this category and expanding its fleet to 30 containerships.
The move comes days after the Christoph Toepfer and Frederik Rye-Florentze-led company picked up the 58,100-dwt supramax bulkers Sandra (built 2012) and Selecta (built 2010)
The bulkers were purchased from the stable of PCI Premium Capital Emissionshaus.
