Terneuzen-based Multraship is another Dutch firm to combine harbour towage operations with an emergency response salvage company.

The outfit is part of the giant Muller Maritime Group controlled by the Muller family, which has been involved in the maritime business for more than 200 years.

The Multraship board is run entirely by Muller family executives and the company is headed by Leendert Muller, who was also until recently president of the International Salvage Union (ISU).
