The 181,500-dwt bulker Mairaki (built 2011) has entered the fleet of Pavimar, which was established by Ismini Panayotides and so far is listed with three smaller bulkers.
The Mairaki belonged to Villy Panayotides’s Excel Maritime. In May 2013, ownership of the ship was transferred to a subsidiary of Dutch lender ABN AMRO to clear $35m owed by Excel, which was then being restructured.
