Brokers say Pacific International Lines (PIL) has emerged as the charterer of two 8,266-teu vessels fixed out by Capital Product Partners of Greece.

The Singapore-based operator is understood to have taken the Agamemnon (built 2007) and Archimides (built 2006) at a private rate for 12 months, with an option for a further year.

The vessels, according to Alphaliner, have been idle in Asia since 27 September and 18 November last year, respectively.
