South Korean owner Pan Ocean and Greece’s Marmaras Navigation were both linked to the purchase of the 82,600-dwt Epson Trader (built 2007).
A Marmaras spokesman denies it has bought the ship, for which it is said to have paid $7.4m. It was suggested Pan Ocean may have paid $7.6m for the bulker, which is valued at $7.5m by online platform VesselsValue.com.
