A battered oil price is not all bad news for Danish conglomerate AP Moller-Maersk.

While Maersk Oil carried a $2.6bn impairment in its latest accounts following a long decline in one of the world’s most watched numbers, the fall was reason to cheer for Maersk Tankers.

Maersk Tankers, one of four companies to make up the APM Shipping Services division, recorded an underlying result of $156m in 2015.
