Tanker freight rates are on a downward path, according to London-based forecasting company Maritime Strategies International (MSI), which is calling time on the year-long boom.

Its macro supply demand analysis for tankers over 10,000 dwt has thrown up some worrying results for owners and operators alike over the next couple of years.
