Winning Shipping of Singapore is in the process of buying two Hyundai Samho-built capesizes owned by South Korea’s Dong-A Tanker — the 180,000-dwt Dong-A Leto (built 2010) and Dong-A Ether (built 2011) — bringing its total spend close to $100m. The deal is on subjects.
Although the bulkers were not officially for sale, they are believed to have been inspected by some of the “strong capesize owners”.
