The Mitsui-built, 50,000-dwt Harrier (built 2001), which is due for special survey in September, has been sold to a Greek buyer for $3.3m, according to sources.
Eagle Bulk bought the vessel as Alam Mutiara for $34m in January 2005 and it has a demolition value of $3.5m.
Last week, the owner sold the Oshima-built, 50,000-dwt bulker Peregrine (built 2001) to an undisclosed buyer for $2.7m
