Trader Commodities and Minerals Enterprise (CME) alleges it is owed $413m in a legal battle with Venezuelan iron ore monopoly Ferrominera Orinoco (FMO) over the collapse of their shipping and supply partnership.
CME , which is registered in the British Virgin Islands (BVI), has used a federal lawsuit in New York to seize an undisclosed amount of US assets and has said it would file arbitration in New York, Miami, London and Geneva over its claims in the case.
