The IHI-built, 48,000-dwt Steel Vision (built 2001) is being sold by subsidiary Dianik Bros Shipping for further trading for $3.5m. The Greek owner bought it as Kristen Picer for $12.3m in June 2013. Its demolition value is probably between $2m and $2.5m.
Dianak Bros was set up in 2007 with a fleet of elderly bulkers. It disposed of its last 1980s-built ship, the 37,000-dwt Steel Anna (built 1984), for demolition in 2013.
