The 82,500-dwt Safe Voyager (built 2007) has been committed to an unidentified Greek buyer at between $9.2m and $9.4m, according to several sources.
Last month, Kambara Kisen raised the same amount of money by selling a ship of comparable size but two years younger — the 82,500-dwt FD Isabella (built 2009) that reportedly went to Chinese interests for $9.2m.
VesselsValue estimates the Safe Voyager is worth $8.7m.
