BULKERS
The Japanese-controlled, Imabari-built, 88,000-dwt bulker Kaien (built 2004) has been sold to a Chinese buyer for $6m, sources say.
Malaysian Bulk Carrier is seeking offers for the Iwagi-built, 53,000-dwt bulker Alam Murni (built 2003). The ship is available for inspection in Colombia next week.
Boo Kwang Shipping of South Korea has sold the Oshima-built, 45,000-dwt bulker BK Duke (built 1995) for further trading to a domestic buyer for $1.9m.
