Greek shipowner Dynagas is being linked to an upcoming order for what could be China’s first floating storage and regasification unit (FSRU).
Industry sources say CSSC Leasing, the shipowning arm of CSSC, is in talks over an FSRU newbuilding, which would be contracted in China. They indicate that Dynagas could emerge as the charterer of the unit.
Other details, particularly on the project the FSRU would be designed to serve, have yet to emerge.
