Another legal saga facing TOTE Maritime appears to be in its final chapter even as litigation over the sinking of the ro-ro El Faro is still in its early phases.

Frank Peake, who had been president of the subsidiary then known as Sea Star Line, which had owned the ship since 1993, is asking the US Supreme Court to overturn his prison sentence for price-fixing, the longest-ever handed down in a US antitrust case of its type.

The
