The 301,000-dwt Ulysses (built 2016) has been taken for 40 months at a floating rate with a floor of $35,000 per day by South Korea’s Hyundai Glovis, according to sources.
The deal, which is on subjects, is understood to include a bunker adjustment factor.
The newbuilding contract for Ulysses was taken over by TEN for $97m in July last year. It will be the company’s second VLCC trading.
