LNG shipowner Nakilat is considering converting the engine on a second vessel in its Q-ship fleet to a propulsion unit capable of burning gas, after completing a similar job on a Q-max-size vessel last year.
TradeWinds understands requests for a quotation on the conversion job have been floated in the market. Those following the job indicate a vessel has been named as a candidate for the engine switch but details remain under wraps at present.
