The sale of the 159,000-dwt Hamilton Spirit and Bermuda Spirit (both built 2009) has not been reported by brokers but Teekay says in its first-quarter report that Centrofin has bought the ships for $47m each.
Centrofin already had the ships on charters that have also not been reported. Some suggest Centrofin had the duo on time charter with a purchase obligation.
