It has been stealing the media limelight for the past few weeks with its launch of the 227,000-gt Harmony of the Seas, a whale of a vessel that is currently billed as the world’s largest.
It has now emerged that Royal Caribbean also likes small ships.
The company has revealed that its subsidiary, Celebrity Cruises, has acquired a small Ecuadorian cruise line called Oceanadventures SA, an operator of two small ships that seem like tiny minnows compared to the rest of the Royal Caribbean fleet.
