Three robbers boarded an anchored products tanker. One rushed at the duty able seaman (AB) and threatened him with a knife. The crew member managed to raise the alarm and the assailants jumped ship and escaped in a boat.

That was six days ago, 18 June, off Dumai Anchorage, Indonesia. The same Saturday four robbers armed with guns arrived on deck of a heavylift carrier, held the duty AB hostage and then escaped, taking ship spares with them.
