Lomar Shipping is plotting a feedership newbuilding order that is double what has previously been reported.
Only last week, the owner was believed to be planning a deal for up to 10 ships at three separate Chinese yards. Now it has emerged the contract could run to 20 ships of 1,900 teu each.
This would take to over 40 the number of new boxships in the same catagory ordered globally since May.
