Mumbai-based Varun Shipping is said to be looking to expand its LPG carrier fleet and to have begun negotiating fresh acquisitions with Singapore-based BW LPG.
Broking sources say Varun is in talks with BW LPG to buy a couple of very large gas carriers (VLGCs) in the next few months, citing the 84,300-cbm BW Borg (built 2001) as one potential purchase candidate.
