The Sasebo-built, 74,242-dwt Golden Lyderhorn (built 1999) has gone to a Chinese buyer for $3.65m, which is a firm price in today’s market. VesselsValue says the ship is worth just $2.7m.
Shipowner Nicolai E Lorentzen says the project has been successful for Lorentzen, which acquired its stake in the KS (limited partnership) that owned the vessel a couple of years ago, becoming managing owner.
