John Fredriksen-backed Arctic Shipping Norway will officially join the ranks of Oslo shipbrokers when it opens its doors for the first time on Monday.
The joint venture between Fredriksen’s Gevaran Trading and investment bank Arctic Securities will begin life with a staff of six brokers recruited from other firms in the Norwegian capital.
Odd Jacob Fritzner, formerly of Pareto Shipbrokers, will lead the venture as managing director.
