The Universal Shipbuilding-constructed 297,000-dwt Kokkari (built 2008) has been fixed by Tullow Oil at $28,000 per day.
The Kokkari is the only VLCC in the Samos fleet.
The Greek outfit also has one suezmax and six aframax tankers trading and four medium-range (MR) tankers.
Samos is also listed with 10 trading bulkers and has four tanker newbuildings at Onomichi Dockyard.
