CBC Financial Leasing (ICBC FL) has overcome a legal attack that a US financial broker mounted against its funding of a series of newbuildings for Norway’s Golar LNG.
The recent and unpublicised English High Court judgment rejects a challenge by California-based Consultants Group Commercial Funding Corp (CGCF) to ICBC FL’s 2013 financing of four LNG carrier newbuildings by Norway’s Golar LNG.
