Two capesize, one supramax and four handysize bulkers formerly owned by Oaktree Capital Management-backed Maritime Equity Partners (MEP) are now controlled by clients of traditional Greek shipping player AM Nomikos Transworld Maritime Agencies.

The development sheds further light on the winding down of MEP’s fleet of around a dozen vessels, which began shrinking several months ago and is now apparently without any ships after the cash-strapped company handed vessels back to its lenders.
