Norway’s Sole Shipping is set to expand its fleet after raising more than $100m for a new fund and is on track to hit a target of $250m, says co-founder Jan William Denstad.

The Lillesand-based company will continue to buy vessels through leaseback and bareboat charters with global shipowners.

Denstad says the charters typically will be of five to eight years and the transactions will range from around $15m to $125m.
