Boskalis discount shows more offshore ‘positioning’ on cards

Two high-specification diving support vessels (DSVs) have finally changed hands, after largely sitting idle for nearly a year, at about a 60% discount to estimated replacement costs of upwards of $150m per ship.

However, this week's transaction between Dutch owner Boskalis and Nor Offshore SPV is further evidence the subsea sector has turned a corner over market sentiment, brokers tell TradeWinds.
