Golar LNG's new hire Ross rockets into chief exec hot seat

The appointment of Iain Ross as Golar LNG’s new chief executive in September last year raised a few quizzical eyebrows.

Ross, 56, a former WorleyParsons executive turned private consultant, was headhunted for the position last year when the New York-listed LNG vessel owner started a search for a new chief executive to take the company to the next level in the first half of last year.
