Shipowner and investor Tor Olav Troim says gas is going to totally transform the oil market but more small-scale LNG carriers are needed to help transform the gas sector.
Speaking the Rystad Energy Annual Summit today Troim talked about Golar’s new partnership with Stolt-Nielsen and Hoegh LNG in small-scale LNG shipping venture Avenir LNG, which he said would give the new outfit 18 floating storage and regasification units around the world with which to access markets.
