Marco Fiori has resigned as chief executive of d'Amico International Shipping after more than 22 years in the position.

Fiori will step out of the top job at the Milan-listed shipowner at the end of this year, a statement says.

The Italian executive has been in the post since 1996 and today described shipowners Paolo and Cesare D’Amico as like family.
