Ocean Yield bottom line has suffered primarily as a result of a weaker top line.

The Norwegian owner posted an adjusted net profit of $8.4m versus a $33.9m profit a year earlier.

Revenue fell to $58.4m from $89.2m, partly due to idling of 6,500-bhp AHTS vessel Connector (built 2000) for most of the first quarter.

The company also received no revenue from 214,266-cbm FPSO tanker Dhirubhai-1 (built 1979), which has an option for a $3m longterm bareboat charter with Aker Energy.
