Wild crab-eating macaques monkeys were running wild on the ship and they were eventually caught by crew members and put in a cage where they were offered food.
According to the Copenhagen Zoo, the stowaways likely include two males, two females and one youngster.
The primates are thought to have climbed aboard the ship in Malaysia.
Invasive species by nature, the monkeys will either be sent back or given to a Dutch zoo.
