The moggy, which has been named Ni Hao ("hello" in Chinese), has been allocated a new home with a Los Angeles family since turning up unexpectedly last month.
Ni Hao is “still a bit wobbly” and “may end up being a special needs kitty for life,” according to the county's animal control department.
