China's Jiangsu Ocean Shipping has reportedly ordered three new containerships at Jiangsu New Yangzijiang Shipbuilding.
UK broker Clarksons lists the first of the 1,900-teu vessels as due in December 2017, with the other two coming in January and February, 2018.
No price was given for the deal.
The Chinese owner already has a fleet of bulkers, plus four feederships.
