Maersk Line is exploring alternative solutions for its cargoes that have been affected by the diplomatic conflict between Qatar and its neighbors.

The boxship owner is ceasing cargo acceptance between Qatar and Saudi Arabia, Egypt, Bahrain and the United Arab Emirates (UAE) with immediate effect, according to a customer note provided to TradeWinds.

Maersk added major ports in the Middle East such as DP World Jebel Ali and Abu Dhabi Terminals no longer accept cargo to and from Qatari ports, including transhipment cargo.
