Khalid Hashim has launched a strong defence of China's One belt, One Road policy.
The sight of China driving a scheme across 65 countries, three continents and 4.4 billion people has raised some eyebrows about the country's expanding footprint.
Addressing the Asian Belt Podium at Nor-Shipping, Hashim said: "Every article in the western media is negative about One Belt, One Road."
