Arne Blystad's asset-play project Songa Container has acquired a number of vessels in under-the-radar deals and retains an appetite for further expansion.
The Oslo-based outfit, which has built a fleet with capacity of 4,957 teu, was set up in 2017. In February last year, its fleet had grown from four to nine units, TradeWinds reported.
Since then, another six ships have been added in off-market deals.
