Xeneta, the containership freight data platform, is branching out into the airline sector.
It wants to bring "fresh levels of transparency" to the volatile air freight market.
The Norwegian company said its new product will enable users to accurately benchmark their air freight rates against the market, "empowering unique insights, informed negotiations and enhanced decision making".
Xeneta launched from its Oslo base in 2012. It gathers shipping data from a community of over 700 leading businesses, covering more than 160,000 port-to-port pairings and over 35m contracted rates.
