CMB.Tech is poised to become the second-biggest capesize owner in the world through its merger with Golden Ocean, but the Belgian group is still preaching the value of diversification.

“Times have changed, so we change as well. We don’t believe in pure-play anymore,” CMB.Tech chief executive Alexander Saverys told analysts at event in Antwerp on Thursday.
