China Merchants Bank Financial Leasing (CMB FL) has bumped up its newbuilding orderbook with four more bulk carriers.
The unit of China Merchants Bank has commissioned Dalian Cosco KHI Ship Engineering Co (Dacks) to build four 82,000-dwt kamsarmaxes to be delivered in 2024.
The order at the Sino-Japanese shipyard is the second shipbuilding contract that the Chinese leasing company has pencilled this month.
