A Great Eastern Shipping (GES) capesize bulker that has been anchored off China for almost seven months is finally set to leave for Japan.

The 179,300-dwt Jag Anand (built 2011) has been stranded off Jingtang since June 2020, after being caught up in the trade dispute between Australia and China.

The ship and its 23 crew members will leave for Japan’s Chiba port where a replacement crew will takeover the ship, reported Bloomberg.
