Massoel of Switzerland has continued to cut back its fleet of bulkers, while two of its ships were detained in the UK in October.

The most recent ship to be sold was the 31,000-dwt Thurgau (built 2011), which was sold to an undisclosed Greek buyer for a reported $6.7m.

VesselsValue estimates the Chinese-built ship is worth $7.8m.

The sale is the latest in a series that have left European brokers questioning what ambitions the company now has as a shipowner.
