Athens-based Olympic Shipping & Management has agreed to sell its only two capesize bulkers in a deal with JP Morgan.

The 182,600-dwt Olympic Hope and Olympic Harmony (both built 2016) fetched $39m each, broking sources told TradeWinds.

The scrubber-equipped ships have been trading with the company since the Japan Marine United yard delivered them as newbuildings.

Their sale suggests that Olympic, founded by legendary shipowner Aristotle Onassis, is moving towards reducing its exposure to bulkers.
