Pangaea Logistics Solutions' earnings have fallen amid the dry bulk sector's rough seas over the past several months.
The Ed Coll-led bulker owner posted a $4m profit for the second quarter versus a $5.8m profit at the same time last year.
Earnings per share were $0.09, missing two analyst estimates of $0.16 and less than last year's result of $0.13.
