Scorpio Bulkers plans to offload two ultramaxes and one kamsarmax for about $53.5m in return.
The Emanuele Lauro-led owner has entered into agreements with unaffiliated third parties to sell 63,000-dwt SBI Jaguar (built 2014) and 63,700-dwt SBI Taurus (built 2015) and 82,000-dwt SBI Bolero (built 2015).
None of these vessels have exhaust gas scrubbers, the New York-listed company said.
Delivery of the three ships is expected to take place through May of 2020.
